But yeah. I've mostly been trying to focus on local news and then a few people I like on Bluesky. Aaron Rupar is usually a good barometer for whether it is just christofacism or if we are actually going to war with Greenland tomorrow.
The fun choice of: do I trickle the news throughout the day to cushion the impact, or do I try to avoid it until I get blindsided with an overwhelming pile of shit?
Personally i avoid them as much as possible, but browse headlines 2-3 times a month. Helps keeping my mental health while not being entirely uninformed

Happy to skip till MAGA or at least Senior Cheeto pops off this mortal realm. Hoping that'll be sooner than 2029, one way or another. Hopefully by shitting himself to death on stage - something public and humiliating but natural so there's no martyrdom because Y'all Qaeda would use that for their propaganda. You can't propagandize shitting yourself to death easily. And let's be honest, it'd be memeworthy and laughing at fascists is one of the best ways to drag them down.
