NGL that gif is fucking amazing, violin or not. Where do you find such wondrous things?

[–] infeeeee@lemmy.zip 5 points 37 minutes ago (1 children)

The GIF was created by James Tyrwhitt-Drake back in 2012, when he captured the images at the University of Victoria’s Advanced Microscopy Facility and posted the final product to his Tumblog, Infinity Imagined.

Oh ok. You just randomly found that specific one? As a petapixel browser, would you happen to know where to find more of the same? I think I need a serious electron microscope zoom in fix after this.

"It's time to recalibrate my gradient on the big picture."

You absolute fucking loser. The ONLY reason you're not a virgin is because you have money, and it still doesn't make a dent in your complete loserhood.

Most recently, xAI has come under fire after Grok began generating nonconsensual sexual images of real people in response to X user prompts.

That's an understatement...

It’s okay this just means he got replaced with AI right?!?!

It's time to recalibrate my gradient on the big picture.

I guess this is AI-insider wit, but I'm so glad not to think or speak like these people do.

How can I add words to this sentence without adding information?

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

Someone from a brand new account posted a bunch of gibberish like that today about having the keys to the octo-dimension mother universe...

And I immediately thought it was an Elon AI, because that's how they think humans actually talk

It is, gradient descent is what you use to find optimal model parameters.

the algorithm takes a step, computes a gradient (whether any nearby options are better), then moves in that direction to improve the parameters, in a loop.

When the faq will he lose everything? I want him to be homeless, poor.

I workout, eat healthy, avoid alcohol and drugs all in an effort to live long enough to see these assholes punished somehow, someway.

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 4 points 1 hour ago

That is a frequently asked question.

You will be waiting a long time….

Thats... not really on the cards.

The answer is when enough people get tired of them hoarding everything...

Gluttony was always greed, and the stories about dragons sleeping on gold were just allegories for people like Elmo.

We need to stop acting like this is a new problem and we don't know how to fix it.

It's human variation, some people are wired to do anything for as many resources as possible. Which is fine as long as we get them treatment instead of giving them the keys to the planet.

All we gotta do is stopping letting the wealthy make all the decisions, because they'll keep deciding that they should have more of the money.

When the load-bearing turds get flushed, we all get flushed with them.

It says that xAI lost their second cofounder, but then it turns out that he just left the company.
