Except he's no longer a royal. He's just a normal citizen now. There should be no special treatment even if he was a royal, if King Charles' statement about the law applying to everyone is to be believed.

Yeah, this entire arrest spiel has nothing to do with the women. They had special ops most likely assassinate Virginia in her home last year. This arrest was about spilling UK state secrets to Israeli/Russian intelligence.
