A lot of them were let in here; they shouldn’t have been let in,” Trump said, referring to the perpetrators of a spate of recent attacks, including two men who brought explosives to a far-right protest outside New York City’s mayoral mansion earlier this month.

“Others, they’re just bad, they go bad. Something wrong,” he continued. “There’s something wrong. Their genetics are not exactly… they’re not exactly your genetic. It’s one of those problems, Brian. It’s a terrible thing. And it happens.

Yep, he's gone full-blown Nazi. Those camps aren't just for deportation. They're going to add Americans with "bad genes" too. Just you wait.

So eugenics exists?

Any more inbred and he would be a sandwich.

[–] shawn1122@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 month ago

Didn't know humans were capable of binary fission.

[–] Grandwolf319@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

What if fans of eugenic are just projecting their own inferiority complex?

As in, what if some people are so shallow that they think genetic success is very important but think they would never have a good chance unless the game is rigged in their favour?

Has there been many cases of super smart people or Olympic athletes being big on eugenics? I can’t recall any.

Raping all along the way. And murdering most likely. Now he gets to call it war.

Hitler had a lot of stomach problems, it's why he was vegetarian. his contemporaries would complain about his rancid farting at dinners. i bet he shit himself too

[–] ALoafOfBread@lemmy.ml 73 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Sounds like miller tried to explain the concept to him but he didn't quite get the details

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 30 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Exactly this. It's happened so many times before like the asylum seekrs / insasne asylum thing.

That said, I wouldn't put it past him to approve of various genetic-based crap, but he won't understand it.

[–] Gork@sopuli.xyz 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It isn't surprising that Miller has lasted so long in Trump's inner circle.

Reminder they gave a known terrorist a VISA just so they could immediately stick a CI with him, and then have the CI entrap the terrorist in a bullshit assassination plot.

So yeah, trump let a lot in that shouldn't, so he could get this self fulfilling prophecy.

Just think of how crazy that is, and that it's unlikely to be their only such gamble.

They want a domestic attack to happen, they're just not going to be as slick about it as Cheney was.

Confidential Informant.

They say they have you on a low charge, and the only way out is to snitch and work for the cops.

Often it goes from something like having a small amount of weed, having to snitch on dealers, then one day the FBI show up and if you don't just go along with what they want, you go down for the original charge and outed as a snitch with no credit because you stopped cooperating.

Like, it's exactly the same as what you go thru for blackmail awareness training. Or how a cult gets people to be loyal

Except it's the American justice system orchestrating it.

You should really read up on it, it's crazy interesting and something we desperately need to fix.

Thanks for the explanation. Not American so not able to help you fix it, but good luck with that.

Not without precedent, did they give this one a block of grey Plasticine and tiny digital alarm clock to plug into it too?

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 2 points 1 month ago

Are you referring to Netenyaho?

[–] NekoKoneko@lemmy.world 24 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It would be nice that he said this on Fox News, since his supporters wouldn't ever see it otherwise.

But if they've gone along with him this far, I'm sure they are fine with this as well. "He shouldn't say it, but I know what he meant, and I have good genes so I'm fine," is probably as far as they'll get.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

The people that watch Faux News are the ones that are the very most supportive of this kind of thing.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 24 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That obese child rapist calling other people's genetics bad is either funny, or astonishingly insulting.

Christ, even when that thing was young he still looked unfinished, the fucking pants shitting goober.

[–] 100_kg_90_de_belin@feddit.it 5 points 1 month ago

He's rich, to his voters it wouldn't matter if he were a poor excuse for a Jabba the Hutt's cosplay

[–] ReHomed@lemmy.cafe 17 points 1 month ago

To the surprise of absolutely fucking nobody

Rightoids just keep growing more and more unhinged as time passes, any second they aren't dead is a second they'll keep enshittifying civil society

[–] TrojanRoomCoffeePot@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago

Worth noting, although I believe that OP's on the right track, they're missing an important sort of fine detail IMO;

They won't need camps or gas wagons to eradicate the disabled, whether this includes people with genetic mutations causing their illness or those who've been wounded by acute physical/viral/bacterial/parasitic illness, but can obtain the same desired end result by simply withdrawing and then withholding care. That's it, a figurative twist/kinking of the hose that's allocation of federal/state funding to public health. The poor and crippled will die in waves reminiscent of previous centuries where the church or sympathetic local doctors were their only relief, it's going to be bad.

[–] ArgentRaven@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

His perfect genes enable him to constantly hide his baldness, I see. Nothing wrong with being bald, but he's certainly trying to hide it so hard it's clear he wishes he wasn't.

He hates himself so much and it's clear it's just a cover. Better blame everyone else and make his genes their problem!

If he wasn't born rich, we'd never have heard of him.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

If he wasn’t born rich, we’d never have heard of him.

So much this.

This guy would have been just another loudmouth jackass that you steer clear of and disinvite to any social event.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago

Is this anything new? The guy keeps claiming he has "good genes".

[–] the_crotch@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Clicked on this expecting the headline to be overblown rage bait. But nope, it's accurate, the man did what they said he did. Unbelievable that he can still shock me this late in the game. I'm not shocked that he believes this, because duh. I'm shocked he's comfortable going so mask off with it.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The policies of this administration only make sense if you assume they all believe in eugenics and are trying to kill off "the weak".

[–] IchNichtenLichten@lemmy.wtf 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

They should start closer to home, Trump's spawn look like they've got one decent push up between the lot of them.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 month ago

Ammo for The Hague.

[–] orioler25@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

In my experience, most people do to a disturbing degree. Liberals are very willing to naturalise the eradication of certain groups, and only really identify eugenics as the most obvious examples of why this worldview is destructive. Most people will say they're against eugenics but won't think twice about a joke that references Darwinism to make fun of someone stupid or will think of disabilities as only something to cure and not something that should just be accepted.
