A detail that is also lost is how he sent reserve support troops to die. They where people that have non-combat jobs, like fixing computers, who while trained for combat are never expected to be in combat unless all hell has broken loose.
When that first came out I honestly thought it had to be something an LLM spat out, because what he said was so close to the meme.

I'd say a "douche" is a lower term. Totally unsafe, inclined to create more problems than it solves and not at all necessary.
