Holy shit. There one thing you never take away from your troops. That is chow. You can work their asses off and run them till they drop but you better make sure the chow is hot an plentiful.
I don't get it. I get that logistics are hard, but that the thing about the US military, it's that they're so very huge, they're really good at it.
And anyway, if you can drop hundreds of bombs on Tehran, how hard is it to drop MREs on your boats on the way really? Honest question.

The Trump admin doesn't consider competency as a crucial skill to be a military logistician. In fact, the only crucial skill they care about is loyalty to Trump.

the "door dash grandma" at the white house "sharon simmons" is a actor they reuse a lot. She testified last year in congress pretending to be a concerned citizen to support the big beautiful bill act, and pretended to be in tje military in another skit they tried to pull. They really need to get more actors, its getting ridiculous.

The patty is a TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein) patty with a hint of beef.

They're not great but you can recognize that they're intended to be a hamburger.
Sadly, there are even lower quality patties that are entirely TVP. They come as a perfect grey disk that don't change color when cooked, the cross section looks like neoprene and it tastes about the same.

But I'd never imagine that grey slice of whatever could be edible.
That quote is referring to the other picture in the article. The one that has a tortilla and shredded meat with it.
