The US Navy has denied reports of food shortages on board two major vessels participating in the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Yesterday USA Today reported crew aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli were not getting enough to eat.

One photo taken by a Marine showed a mostly empty lunch tray with a single scoop of shredded meat and one tortilla.

These seem totally inadequate. According to the Department of Agriculture, a complete meal is supposed to be "a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, a corn tortilla and... one other thing".

If it makes you feel better, Trump, Hegseth, and the billionaires are eating great.

Quick, send the fastest transport with a door dash lady with a McDonald's happy meal package for photo op with the troops.

That'll do it.

IDK if it's a "food shortage" but it's a fresh food shortage. The obvious similarity between ingredients is they are things that can be frozen.

Can't be blamed for putting boots on the ground if you made them eat all the boots first

Reminder to the crews of those ships: matresses are flammable.

Can't the US even supply its own ships anymore? Logistics was always America's strongest point, and now that's gone too.

Another meal was a ground meat patty, an unidentified piece of meat and some sliced carrots. (Supplied)

I want people to know that I have yet to find someone who has identified the "unidentified piece of meat" that looks like a deflated meat balloon.

Looks kind of like one of the slices of meat that comes in the Aldi brand Gyro sandwich kit, but less appealing altr

That means there are definitely food shortages. This current US regime works in opposite land so reverse everything they say to get closer to reality.
