What the Orange Idiot sees every time it closes it’s eyes

[–] rayyy@lemmy.world 44 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It will be a historical reminder of how infantile and deranged he was

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 24 points 1 day ago (2 children)

More like our ability to tolerate madman. He is just one person. This does not bode well for the future of the US.

[–] RidderSport@feddit.org 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I mean frankly, what the fuck are the american people even doing? I mean the Germans had the argument of actually being made criminals for belonging to a different party within half a year of the Austrian painter taking power.

[–] Holytimes@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 hours ago

Its easier to get away with things if you let the avg person keep on living with out interfering with them.

For the majority of Americans there no direct effect on their day to day life. There secondary effects and indirect effects on all of us, but because they arnt physically harmful, directly viewable or caused by something with in the immediate region where they live.

People can and will just ignore them. Its been like that though of all of human history.

What does the present care for? Their food, water and warmth. What the king does many miles away does not concern the present in any way that matters.

So the present ignores it, till it's too late.

[–] No_Bark@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I dunno, seems like a certifiable bunch of people have been trying to do something about this "just one person" this past year and a half.

It absolutely isn't "just one person" either, this is the entire system. The rot is just laid so bare with this one fucking guy.

It's the Cheeto dialect, very few speakers. But they are the best... nobody speaks like they do and nobody ever will again.

[–] nao@sh.itjust.works 19 points 1 day ago

Still mad he never won against Biden

[–] Bwaz@lemmy.world 26 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Trump really can't get over having lost to Biden. He is the definition of "sore loser".

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

He won't admit he ever lost to Biden, just that it was all rigged and Biden cheated. He just cannot fathom that a (half) black man became president, especially since Obama dunked on him HARD during a correspondents dinner and hurt his precious fragile showflake feefees

[–] Geobloke@aussie.zone 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He is some how both a sore loser and a sore winner

[–] osanna@lemmy.vg 2 points 1 day ago

“Winner”

Yeah there’s no way he didn’t cheat.

[–] exixx@lemmy.world 61 points 2 days ago (13 children)

We used to be a real fucking country

[–] Mrkawfee@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

There should be a three century minimum for being a country. Otherwise you're just a mature settler colony.

[–] JennaR8r@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Sounds good. Because USA is not going to last 3 centuries. They are imploding before our very eyes.

1776 1876 1976 2076

Think they'll last 50 more years? Trump is single-handedly causing its collapse.

[–] saimen@feddit.org 1 points 1 day ago

I believe this was the point

Boy, Biden really lives rent-free in Trump's head.

Most people, if they even thought of putting something like that up, would be worried that they would be branding themselves as a desperate loser.

[–] its_kim_love@lemmy.blahaj.zone 61 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Dude was shot at, and has more hatred for Rosie O'Donnell. I've literally never heard him mention the shooter.

[–] BillyClark@piefed.social 62 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Donald Trump, to me at least, seems like a very simple person. I have found that I can predict a lot of what he'll do by just keeping in mind that he's an egotistical simpleton who wants people to worship him. He doesn't care about anybody but himself, and he doesn't think very far into the future. But he gets hung up on the past a lot.

Biden beat him. There was a popularity contest, and America picked Biden. Biden has never lost to Trump, except one debate that most people forgot about already. That's something that Trump will never be able to change.

Trump probably thinks of the shooter as a loser who couldn't even hit what he was aiming at. If anything, the shooting made Trump more popular. Trump won and the shooter lost.

[–] DagwoodIII@piefed.social 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Here's another thing about Trump.

Trump was in New York real estate and construction from the start. There's no way to do that without dealing with the Mafia.

Any smart boss is going to take one look at Donnie and step away. A boss doesn't want to be around a loudmouth who can't be trusted to keep his mouth shut.

So the mobsters Donnie interacted with were the low level goons the bosses could throw under the bus if anything went wrong.

All of Donnie's schemes are crude because that's what he thinks are clever schemes. His smartest mentor, Roy Cohn, died too soon to teach Donnie how to actually act like a winner.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Cohn also probably couldn't and wouldn't. Cohn was great at what he did, he died deeply in debt to the federal government just like he wanted. But Cohn had intelligence that while subservient to the myriad chips on his shoulder, was real. Cohn could actually play people off each other and make people who hated him like him. And most of all Cohn could resist the urge to be in the spotlight if he even felt it at all. He had the cunning you only get when you have had to hide. And that's how he was able to get what may very well be the closest person he ever had to a real romantic partner, Joe McCarthy, to be the face of the red and lavender scares and then to take the fall when the backlash came.

You can't make a rich, privileged in every way, golden boy narcissist into Roy Cohn. Roy Cohn had distress tolerance and could use it when he needed to.

I see the sorest loser in the history of elections is still whining. Not winning.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

Absolute clown fucking timeline.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago

Oh this is going to wind up in a museum next to a reconstruction of an ice detainment camp cell. At least it fucking better

Its like a five year old bully is in charge...

[–] NottaLottaOcelot@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

But 5 year olds usually hug and move on after having a fit…

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

And 5-year olds don't shit their pants anymore

Wasn't this done months ago? It's not a "new" plaque anymore.

[–] MimicJar@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Back in December 2025, yes.

But he does a new terrible thing every day, so sometimes it's hard to remember everything.

[–] Norn@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 day ago

Had to Google what they actually say about Trump and Biden. This article made it sound slightly biased plus the petty ”Sleepy Joe” part. The plaques are in fact hilarious, on par with a Trump tweet in their tone, entirely biased, mostly fictional. This to me is one of the top pettiest things he has done, since it’s a plaque in an official government building.

[–] brother@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 1 day ago

Born too early to scratch out the hieroglyphics of my predecessor

Born too late

Born just in time

[–] rayyy@piefed.social 22 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The old orange gibbon will be remembered as a pedophile, rapist, liar, criminal and total incompetent - no plaques needed. Just mention his name.
His followers will forever be tainted by their support of an abomination and MEGA LOSER. He played them just like he played the little girls he lured into his raping clutches.

[–] auzy1@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Don't even need to mention his name

Just mention the pedophile, and everyone knows who you're talking about

Some Maga people will pretend you're talking about Clinton, but the Clintons showed up to Congress. And, even the cultiest ones know you're talking about Trump, even if they pretend otherwise

[–] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world 68 points 2 days ago (10 children)

His Afghanistan Disaster.. was among the most humiliating events in American History, and resulted in the murder of 13 brave American Servicemembers

13 American soldiers have have died in the totally well thought out, well executed, well justified Iran war, too. Kind of ironic if you ask me

I believe this is what the kids call "cringe." Seriously though, I'd be embarrassed for him if I didn't wish he'd just drop dead.

[–] osanna@lemmy.vg 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I used to wish he’d die in prison. Like the scum he is. But now I just want him dead asap. I don’t care if he’s in prison. Just fucking die orange turd scum.

[–] NottaLottaOcelot@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

When he ends up the hospital I always marvel that nobody takes the opportunity to get rid of him. I realize that doctors take a Hippocratic oath to do no harm, but I think it may not be a violation if you interpret it on a societal level.

[–] osanna@lemmy.vg 1 points 1 day ago

I think a doctor doing away with him IS the humane thing. He’s got a shitload of blood on his hands and they could save so many people if they did him. I think it’s their DUTY to do it
