There are no civilized countries. Only civilized people.

The regime and it's priorities.

Russian Armed Forces agitation banner, promising a million of rubles as a singing bonus

It's an older ad, now the sums are even bigger, but russian teachers usually get from 30k to 50k monthly, while it promises 200k+, with pausing debt repayments, help with getting children into college and so on.

When I first met americans in person I was delighted to see we aren't that different in spite of all cold war propaganda. That similarity didn't end there, did it? As we share the same hights, we also share the same lows.

It's sort of a good sign is it not?

They don't have any problems filling the teacher positions with mediocre pay. They do have problems filling the ICE positions.

But that entire system if incentives discourages doing good and is functionally a mechanism to reward evil pieces of shit for being pieces of shit across the whole economic system by giving them more planning power in the form of money.

In a sense, it is, but see my comment above - the state hasn't still met it's limit in what it can promise, so the hiring campaign continued for years.

Gonna be a good month for sales at Ford or wherever idiots buy giant gender-affirming vehicles nowadays.

Tesla cybertrucks are going to be everywhere, with a few extra wheels in the back, just in case.
