I never understood Hitler or fascism until Trump came along.
Dictatorship comes from the top down. Fascism is when people want to give dear leader their power. They are happy to rule/act for dear leader without orders.

Oddly enough you never hear of the reverse of this that isn't precipitated by a TBI or similar catastrophic event.
We're Germans also stupid? I mean everything out of Trump's mouth is verifiably false. I could understand access to information being limited in 1930s post-war Germany, but seriously, he says prices are coming down and pretty much every news site that isn't Fox would tell you otherwise.
We’re [sic] Germans also stupid?
Yes, large groups of people are always stupid.
It's difficult to quantify stupidity and so it's difficult to compare the stupidity of two different groups. It's very likely that Nazis were stupider than MAGA in some ways and that MAGA people are stupider than Nazis in other ways.
We have stupid names for groups of things like murder of crows. Aliens will probably it a morons of humans or something as a running joke.
We do have easier access to information. Also, if you’ve ever worked on a German vehicle, you’ll know that they’re not all that.
They were before 2000, now they are garbage designed to fail.
They’re just over-done at every stage for no reason at all. Stupid torx heads, shit that needs allen keys near the brakes of all places, torx bolts in super awkward places where a normal one would be easy to access with a wrench. BMW needing you to have a 16mm wrench for no reason while most wrench kits come in packs which don’t have it. I changed the oil my dad’s 1998 BMW and that thing had a plate which I thought would have a filter on it like my Ninja but instead it still had a canister style filter except it was inside the oil pan and you needed a special, thin-walled metal socket to get to it.
There’s also my friend’s 2018 Jetta where none of the three rotors listed fit and the fourth option, from the previous year, almost did but I had to use those 1/8” thick, strong steel washers to space the caliper out(thank god it was exactly 3/8” off) or we’d have been totally screwed.
Or the dogshit clutch feel, the ultra-long shifter throws, and the awkward ergonomics. My mom’s 2001 Golf had the problem where the climate controls were blocked if you were in third gear. My sister’s 2015 Golf was hugely uncomfortable for longer than a couple hours.
I hate German vehicles so much. They make a lot of power and are cool enough on the face of it but there’s so much stuff that’s just bad. Meanwhile I’m excited to be doing the clutch on my 2015 BRZ tomorrow because it’s going to be wicked easy.
Now if he says the ~~pedophile~~ ruling class is using bigotry to divide us in order to maintain their power he’ll really be onto something!
Now that he realizes that he got fished in, what's he plan to do to make up for his multiple mistakes?
Kinda is his own fault. Shouldn't watch a single news channel like fox.
I'm more concerned about the idiotic American public and its journalists who routinely base their fact checking and reporting on talking to idiots who vote for morons three times in a row
I'm a bit conflicted. On one hand, even if he figured it out far too late, better late than never. One less MAGA is never a bad thing.
On the other hand I don't trust him. I don't trust any of them. How is he just now feeling outraged or just now learning any of this? Is he outraged at all the horrible things Trump has been doing, and how it's effecting millions if not billions of people all over the world? Or is he just outraged now that it's effecting him personally?
I don't want to be the one to discourage anyone from leaving a toxic cult like MAGA but I have some serious doubts about the validity of his sudden convenient remorse.
Or is he just outraged now that it’s effecting him personally?
In my anecdotal experience, this is usually the case.
I'm fine with that if they also acknowledge and denounce the harm to others; Sometimes it really does take being harmed yourself to see the problem.
Fuck em if they're still gonna be racist and transphobic though.
I’m tired of seeing stories of individual Trump voters having regrets. Until the party is flushed down the toilet as a whole, I don’t care about a single person gaining a (half) brain.
