Or did we just forget about how Obama escalated drone strikes and JSOC raids beyond what Bush was doing prior, which resulted in a disproportionate number of civilian casualties? Or the bullshit with the Espionage Act to go after whistleblower and journalists that he straight up fucking lied about yet was exposed by Snowden leaking information from the NSA? All the fucking corporate bailouts at the end of his term, such as the $1 Billion bailout for Black Stone? His support of Israeli Zionism and their apartheid of Palestine? Reneging on closing Guantanamo? His aid to the Saudis in their campaign against Yemen? How about all the tax breaks for the rich he signed off on in 09? And that's not even scratching the surface.

Like holy fuck, open your eyes and quit missing the forest for the trees. Both parties are still in service of capitalist imperialism. Both parties are still your enemy even if one is more your enemy than the other.

Sure, but literally any competent policy will pay for itself directly or indirectly. There's a clear opportunity cost for using government money to pay rich corporations rather than common people, especially in a time where regular people very much needed that money.

Bush bailed out the banks, but it was Obama who bailed out the auto industry. Now these were in the tens of billions range rather than hundreds of billions, but it's worth noting that the government actually lost money on those.

Trump's two worst sins, helping Saudi Arabia bomb/starve Yemen and helping Israel genocide Gaza, are both shared with Democratic presidents.
