Friend of mine is a brain researcher here on an H1-B visa, he's so terrified of losing his sponsored status, he won't attend any Prides or protests or anything because they use that against you now. So, he's waiting for his green card so he can be more out of the closet. Hearing this saddened me. We have surely gone backwards, measurable harm has been done to us.
Chuds on Facebook are absolutely foaming at the mouth about pride month and it's only day 1.
