Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

I dont know anything about this person. Why is his face smaller than his head?

[–] dohpaz42@lemmy.world 3 points 58 minutes ago

If Charlie Kirk is the barometer for what’s American, then I will gladly be called un-American.

[–] distantsounds@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

Still can’t get that face wrapped around the head

[–] logicbomb@lemmy.world 43 points 4 hours ago

I'll save you the time of reading the article. Kirk is just going on a racist rant.

He even starts by saying he's not a racist because he likes a black person. Clarence Thomas of all people.

Then he starts listing people of color who don't count as Americans, and makes up whatever excuse is convenient. This one has dual citizenship, for example.

It's just racism.

Wow his face really is like that

It's from master debating all day every day.

Head like Humpty Dumpty

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 7 points 3 hours ago

Yeah his face looks photoshopped onto his head.

[–] Gowron_Howard@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

Fetal alcohol syndrome most likely.

Tell me you want a race war without telling me you want a race war.

“I’m just asking a very simple question. If you’re not an American, that’s fine. Go back to your place of origin. I’m not going to hurt you. I’m not going to harm you. I’m not going to imprison you. Just go back. Hasta la vista.”

The natural leap for his listeners is that if those people don't go back where they came from, then they should be hurt. They should be harmed. Then he throws in a "hasta la vista" at the end. Hearing that come out of a white guy's mouth always makes me think of Terminator 2.

I very much doubt his fans socialize with any Spanish speakers, not that the phrase is in common usage by Spanish speakers from what I understand. So that movie is probably the first thing to pop into his audience's heads too when they hear the phrase.

Kirk rants about people he considers non-Americans, rants about them not speaking in English, says he won't hurt those people if they leave the USA (which automatically implies he will hurt them if they don't), then throws in a non-English phrase that his audience will almost certainly associate with a killing machine. Sure sounds like stochastic terrorism to me.

People need to remember that conservatives are full of shit and always have been. They never meant so very many things, and just one of their lies is that they were only concerned about "illegal" immigration.

[–] Carmakazi@lemmy.world 15 points 4 hours ago

It's not just immigrants at this point, he is implying that anyone who isn't MAGA is outside of tolerable politics (unAmerican) and they deserve to get deported. Fascism.

Well, he looks like an intelligent person

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 6 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

He looks like a Dick Tracy villain

[–] athairmor@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

He and Laura Loomer. Gabbard with her Cruella hair. Stephen Miller.

Someone could do a Dick Tracy reboot with these characters.

[–] atticus88th@lemmy.world 2 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

I'm not saying he has hydrocephalus but it would explain a lot.
