That's a great headline, BTW.

An evil heart and a lust for power meant even as society changed he never lived a single day of freedom. It'd be sad if he wasn't, y'know, evil.

[–] TheRealKuni@piefed.social 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It’s still sad. Don’t get me wrong, fuck that guy. But it’s a tragic story that repeats too often. I hope for a day where no one lives it again.

The is no HIPAA regulations on Grindr releasing it's database on how many hookups Lindsay did per month.

[–] knife@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago (1 children)

grindr would lose so much business if they started snitching on conservative politicians

[–] Mycatiskai@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Maybe just the dead ones then.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Even then. If I want a secret kept, I don't want my death to release the secret to the public

[–] Catoblepas@lemmy.blahaj.zone 76 points 1 month ago (3 children)

You should probably not accuse a man you’re insinuating was gay of also fucking children with zero evidence. The only man who has ever even publicly claimed he had sex with him said he did so as an adult (he was already a porn actor). Since accusing gay men of being pedophiles is an incredibly old homophobic stereotype, maybe don’t do that. Especially since there’s a slew of shit he actually did to criticize him for.

[–] DomeGuy@lemmy.world 29 points 1 month ago

I won't accuse the late senator of either sexually abusing children or being erotically attracted to them.

But he was a consistent Republican vote for shitty Republican ideas. So, yeah, he definitely fucked America's kids.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 8 points 1 month ago

He's a MAGA so he's automatically a Pedophile. If he didn't rape children himself, then he protected those who do, and you know what they call a person who protects pedophiles?

A Pedophile.

Lindsey Graham was a Pedophile. He'll have plenty of company where he's going.

[–] takeda@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

He only needed 1 golf game with trump to change his views by 180 degrees. I wonder why.

I also why Sasha Riley mentioned him specifically when talking about his experience with Epstein?

Those who voted for him are generally are those associating pedophilia with being gay, but there is also link with it of rich and powerful that we learned what was released about Epstein.

This made me laugh for two reasons: first, because fuck him and I hope he burns in hell; second, because just a day before I said to a friend, "Mitch McConnell is as alive as Lindsay Graham is straight."

Sometimes the universe just delivers

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 month ago (2 children)

that are

"Who are", for sentient beings. I bet they've been objectified enough in their work, so let's not treat them as objects here.

[–] WatermelonPaloma@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

'That' can be an acceptable relative pronoun to refer to people, depending on the sentence structure and context.

died Saturday evening after what his office described as a “brief and sudden illness.”

Graham had met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Friday

That's quite an escalation. What would be that sudden? Drug overdose? Suicide after the cognitive dissonance finally became overwhelming?

[–] grte@lemmy.ca 19 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)
[–] Monument@piefed.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I do really hope he shit himself to death.

They’re probably not announcing the cause of Lady G’s death because RFK might show up to try to eat the body if he thinks his decisions at the CDC contributed.

“It’s legitimate kill! Let me stick him in my trunk!”

[–] ChunkMcHorkle@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

"First dibs on the peen!" -- RFK, probably

You did mention roadkill . . .

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago (1 children)

A heart attack is a brief and sudden event...

If that's what happened, they're going to be hesitant to say it because that's what happened to McTurtle, and they're trying to stall till the normal election so it won't be a special election

If Mitch wasn't being kept alive by machines in a brain dead state, they'd have said Lindsey had a heart attack
