Gained the right to fire all the watchdogs that should prevent our government from doing dangerous things.
Basically everything that they say is bad is 100% their fault at this point.
the classic Republican campaign slogan: "the government is broken, and if you vote for me I'll prove it"
In the EU, opposition parties blame the government for doing a poor job.
In the US, the government blames the opposition party for doing the government's job poorly.
And the opposition in the EU are actually doing the opposing. Meanwhile, the opposition in the US is controlled opposition.
