You beat me to it! Love to see it.
You should be especially nice to the hallucinations, they are you, and you deserve to be nice to yourself
I feel like horror fiction, especially stuff inspired by Lovecraft has done a big disservice in this regard.
Why is hearing voices always depicted as driving someone into madness?
If people were a little more relaxed about, it they could stop themselves from spiraling out of control.
Take a step back, tame your inner voices and make them work for you.
The abyss is looking back? Good.
Take a deep look and learn about yourself, because when you look in the mirror, despite everything, it's still you.

Isn't that mostly in the line of intrusive thoughts, though? Like having a little voice in your head that goes "damn girl u hot today" sounds nice, but when you have impulses like, "aww look, my dog is sleeping, I SHOULD FUCKING CHOKE HIM OUT AND DUMP HIM OUT THE WINDOW" that's... less welcome.
The voices depicted in stories are never pleasant and that's why people get distressed over them.
I've a friend who lives with hallucinations. It's not so much that they struggle telling what's a hallucination and what's reality apart, it's more that they get in the way. They know that the forest that's replaced their hallway and has panicked animals running through it isn't real, but that doesn't make it less stressful.
But the guy in the hat looks so real
One of the creepiest things about LLMs is they respond better when you're polite to them, and worse if you're rude. Of course, this isn't because they actually get offended. They're simply trained on as much text as possible and trained to imitate it. And real human beings, if you ask them a question while calling them names and insulting them, are very unlikely to give you a good answer. If you're polite with people, they're more likely to be helpful. ChatGPT can't feel the feelings a human would when a user calls it a bastard or asks "please," but it can imitate the reactions a human would demonstrate to such a prompt.
are you sure about that, you bastard?
please?

the real hallucinations were the ones we found along the way!
But why Pushkin?
I wondered as well. Apparently, it's a painting by some Russian artist who liked to paint cats and Pushkin for no clear reason: https://a-i-z.livejournal.com/112407.html
I went mad for a bit. Did me no end of good.
Made me think of Harvey.
That isn't a hallucination, that's Scribbles! He's chill.
What happens when you feel like you are the hallucination though?
Should I expect people to be polite to me if I'm not real?
Always.. Maybe extra
Nah, I'll insult those AI hallucinations
