I'm no-communication with my parents for the summer. I love them but they really are deeply dysfunctional and it rubs off on me when I interact with them.

I can 1000% guarantee they got an explanation, they just didn't like it and had no interest in addressing it.

So weird that you never hear "my right-wing children cut me off because I think gay people deserve rights, so now I'm suing them!"
