I mean, more Americans died to COVID than in all wars, and he contributed hugely to that by telling people to not mask or quarantine. Got my uncle with that.

I don't think anything about this situation is "small potatoes". Don't get me wrong, I think killing US military servicemembers is morally the right choice, but we also need to acknowledge that the entire situation is fucked up. The goal should be the destruction of the system which made them into fascist invaders, not individual retribution.
Big difference there is that I don't think we're anywhere near 18 fascists.

I don't even think deprogramming will work because to many of his followers are just morally and mentally flawed at the deepest level. We as a species are cooked.

You have to look at it from his perspective: any soldier dying is a parent less that can beat his brains into pulp once they find out what he did with their daughter.
Over 300 children were murdered by American soldiers this year. I don't weep for these fucks. They knew what they signed up for.
If the guy who sends me to war has gone on record calling people who go to war suckers and losers, I can't be upset when he downplays my death or injury, right?
I feel bad for those in the military whose brains have not yet fully formed, but anyone over 25 should be able to see that the US has been the bad guy since at least Korea. But in this case, when the commander in chief has such public disdain for those who sacrifice, I don't really feel bad for any of them.
