Knocky door run is what me and my friends called it (north east England)

It was called knocky door ginger when I was growing up, and ive since learned that my neck of the woods boasts the highest percentage of variation in shades of ginger hair in the UK.

The scouse version of this prank is they nick your telly and run off down the street with it.

As someone who grew up down south in the UK, it's "knock down ginger"

I have no idea who ginger is and what they have to do with prank knocking

We are but a simple people.

First, I checked that this isn't a British comm.

We call it Doorbell Ditch It. Because, obviously, the game here is to ring the doorbell and run. It's not a common game anymore, because, first, people don't answer their door unless they're expecting someone, and, B) A lot of people have the front door state surveillance cameras installed. But, also, III) there's a small danger some 2A moron will answer the door with a gun in hand.

I think older GenZ were the last to really enjoy it.
