This is in fact satire, though they're so goofy it could easily be real.

it could easily be real

I think of this comic anytime someone does the mental gymnastics to acknowledge something is fake, but then continue to use it as evidence supporting their beliefs.

The closest thing I can think of, in the uk, would be getting a jimmy saville tattoo.

I miss the days when you didn't have to check to see if something was satire.

you mean before AI made a hack artist out of everyone with a terrible idea?

You don't think everyone with Photoshop and Gimp for years and years before AI even came along was able to do something like this? Hell, this was easily done in paint.

[–] Smoogs@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago

that is still too much effort when you have a spark of the moment idea and dont want to waste any more time deciphering if it is a good idea or not.

Ok, so, in this world of ai but also blatant stupidity then I feel I must ask if this is real?

And, if it is actually real, then where can I mock this person?

Look at the bottom right. Also the background text things while blurry are actual words, it's just good old photoshop unless that guy is really dedicated to the bit enough for henna.

The proportions of his head is all wrong, and the hat doesn’t lay properly on the back of his head. I’m pretty sure it’s AI.

He should take a chunk out of the ear for realism.

[–] Impleader@lemmy.world 53 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Wouldn’t a perfectly intact ear be more realistic?

[–] victorz@lemmy.world 10 points 9 hours ago

Pour a little bit of ketchup on it.

How did they notice he was wearing a maga hat? Was he facing the other way at the time?

[–] modus@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

Vance is on the other cheek.

There they go again making me have to look if that was a really good joke or if the joke is on him. Literally. Edit: ah, another thing his head managed to make invisible, the Dong Pac logo.
