Yes, I'm SURE you meant to go to lenonparty.org

[–] Lopoloma@fedinsfw.app 3 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Once upon a time you could delete them directly in the adress bar in firefox. Search entries and url alike

[–] grorbabrag@lemmy.world 1 points 49 seconds ago

Highlight suggestion with arrow keys, shift + del, success?

[–] Creat@discuss.tchncs.de 7 points 2 hours ago

If it gets suggested, you can select it with arrow keys and press shift+del, problem solved.

Dammit, I thought faceboot.com would have a funny typosquatter site on it, but it just redirects to Facebook...

[–] joyjoy@piefed.social 6 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

The one time I type exit() in powershell instead of exit.

[–] SaharaMaleikuhm@feddit.org 1 points 15 minutes ago

That's on you for using Microslop products

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 16 points 5 hours ago (5 children)

You guys aren’t deleting history when the browser closes?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[–] IamMoonPie@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

You clearly don’t have auDHD…

[–] Axolotl_cpp@feddit.it 3 points 2 hours ago

I used to, then i got too frustrated when i accidentally closed the browser and now i don't delete it

[–] balsoft@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 hours ago

I use "private" browsing for like 95% of my internet browsing, and "normal" browsing for important stuff. That way the browser will remember "important" stuff including download sources etc, and for the rest I can sleep easy knowing that my embarassing typos at least aren't remembered by my browser.

[–] baguettefish@discuss.tchncs.de 25 points 5 hours ago

no that's awful

[–] Goldmage263@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 hours ago

About every other month or so. That's just for the locked down home pc. Phone is no history.

[–] lIlIlIlIlIlIl@lemmy.world 16 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

You can fix it. It take 8 seconds

[–] Hawke@lemmy.world 14 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

8 seconds to hit shift+delete? That’s pretty slow.

[–] isles@infosec.pub 24 points 5 hours ago

The 8 seconds may include looking up how to fix it, since it's apparently unknown to the poster. But you don't get any imaginary internet dopamine points for that

[–] RickyRigatoni@piefed.zip 22 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

to be fair t is so far away from k that's not a simple typo and you deserve to be mocked

[–] WhoIzDisIz@lemmy.today 23 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago) (1 children)

Your comment got me curious, and it turns out that's true even for alternative layouts Dvorak & Colemak.

[–] Axolotl_cpp@feddit.it 3 points 2 hours ago

Your comment got me curious, and it turns out that's true even for layouts like Workman & Halmak

[–] Sibshops@feddit.cl 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

When deleting history is hard.

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 4 points 3 hours ago

Don't even need to do that, use arrow keys, select the incorrect entry, and press shift+delete

[–] edinbruh@feddit.it 8 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Chrome insists that I want to visit 92.168.I.I

[–] isles@infosec.pub 5 points 5 hours ago

I insist I don't want to use Chrome, but search suggestions for local IP ranges is really annoying.

[–] Ertain@feddit.online 3 points 4 hours ago

And that's why I turn off the option for the location bar to suggest websites to me.

[–] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 7 points 6 hours ago

Just delete it

[–] paw@feddit.org 2 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

I have the same with archllinux.org (two ls instead of one). :(

[–] Statick@programming.dev 1 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

Highlight it in the dropdown (using the arrow keys), then Shift+Del

[–] damnthefilibuster@lemmy.world 3 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

I wanted to go to E*Trade. Went to etrecheck.com instead.

Fucking Firefox. Hasn’t let go of it since almost a decade now.

[–] tyler@programming.dev 7 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

You can just delete it. When you search choose delete, I think it’s on the right side.

[–] damnthefilibuster@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah, you would think that would work.

[–] Jarix@lemmy.world 3 points 3 hours ago

I've been using Firefox since it was Netscape Navigator 1.2

How is this something you just live with without fixing it?

[–] Johandea@feddit.nu 2 points 6 hours ago

Good guy navigation bar. Sounds like a win
