I'm not a conspiracy guy, but if a billionaire invented a political philosophy that benefited himself, it'd look a whole lot like American libertarianism.

Honestly there are so few examples of this being the case in the current day that you're probably better off just forgetting this fact to avoid confusion. It's kinda similar to how the Nazis labeled themselves as "Social Democrats" but by the time 1940 rolled around, if you so much as mentioned socialism or democracy around a Nazi official then the Gestapo would be at your doorstep within hours
LPNH are nuts and a lot more fashy leaning than your typical libertarian. Iirc they encouraged beating BLM protestors while the national party supported BLM 100%
The Libertarian National Committee expelled the LPNH earlier this year. They probably should have done it earlier, as the LPNH has a long history of outrageous public statements.
They were basically copy/pasting Russian state propaganda for several years before that. It was wild.
The Libertarians in New Hampshire are not dumb. We win all the time. We have a strategy that works. We know how to be team players.
Libertarianism is the ideology of those with various conditions and states of mind, where empathetic and emotional reasoning is “divergent” from the norm.
I was libertarian for a minute, because weed and hookers sounded nice at the time, until it dawned on me, “Wait, you trust corporations in a consumeristic society to make ethical decisions without guardrails?”
The establishment Dems have indisputably aligned with Libertarian values better than the GOP ever has.

To be fair, a libertarian would probably support the assassination of anything government related.
The "Libertarians of NH" com is run by Republicans, which is why they're advocating votes for Republicans rather than Libertarians.
If they were a real libertarian party New Hampshire might be a pretty good state to actually compete with the Republicans.
New Hampshire has more Dems than GOP at this point. Harris beat Trump by 3-pts in 2024, when she was underwater in every other battleground state. The only reason Sununu has a chance at the Senate in 2026 is his last name (same reason Manchin was impervious to Republicans in West Virginia).
The Free State Project has been a joke since the Obama Era. Not only did Libertarians fail to flip the state, but Masshole Liberals have fully swamped whatever base of Libertarian support the state once had.
Sure. I'm saying the Libertarians could match the state sentiment and social environment better than the Republicans. Libertarianism is an easy philosophy to adopt if you hate taxes and believe in "personal responsibility" but don't want to be socially ostracized for the Republican's culture war/nanny state.
