Around the time of his re-election, I remember people saying "this will be just like it was before." And I had that sinking feeling in my gut when I replied, "no, it'll be so much worse."
It is true. Watch the speech he gave the generals. He admits out in the open he has two nuclear submarines off the coast of Russia and then proceeds to threaten all our generals. Also in the photos there are two seats empty where the Admirals are.
I knew this was the end of America back in November. I knew there would be concentration camps, brutal crackdowns, and unjustified attacks on other countries. The only thing that's made me feel truly hopeless is how few people even admit the dire straits we're in.
I doubt Trump nukes Russia or even China because he's a bully who prefers to harass those who can't fight back. Maybe he'd push North Korea too hard and get a city nuked, but if he uses them, it'll probably be against someone who can't nuke back. A show of force to demonstrate his own power. Iran was the most likely, and I was genuinely worried when he attacked them with Israel, because if his attempts at de-escalation failed it could've been grim. It still could be.
It doesn't end with a nuke but there will be a body count.
Keep telling yourself that. Trump is serious. He has always been serious. Before he strokes out he wants to use all "his" toys.
Because he has the mind of a fucking child.
