Unfortunately. RIP. She's an okay singer, but she is a Scientologist, so there's that.
Her parents are, afaik she never spoke out about it herself
I don't think we'll get confirmation for certain, so we can all just guess whichever one makes us feel better.
Religion becomes problematic when people start telling others what they can or can't do. So as long as she doesn't speak about her religion I'm fine either way.
Unfortunately, that's Scientology's whole thing.

She has/had ties to Scientology but allegedly never herself was one and frankly I choose to believe her because it would destroy the image I have of the rest if the band.
Fair enough. Apparently she's broken several rules, so either out of it, or getting special treatment.
Didn't the rest of the band mostly retire when she joined?
Only the drummer left, way before their reunion, and the guitarist just preferred touring less so they just have a touring guitarist. AFAIK.
About half of them I believe, but causation and correlation are not equal

Only in my early adulthood did I understand why the anger and pain Chester shared with the world resonated so strongly within me. Also, "Papercut" is such a strong album opener, jeez! Comparable, to my knowledge, only by Yeezus' "On Sight", which never leaves my jogging playlist, lol.

I'm not in an English speaking country, but I never heard it pronounced N-E-S

Of the people I knew as a kid, the "N.E.S."/"Nes" divide was about even (I'm in the US)
I use both interchangeably, though the SNES is always just Snes.
I've never heard anyone refer to either as nes or snes, it was always spelled out.
Ah, the Sneeze.
When I was a kid we just called it a Nintendo. We didn't start using any pronunciation of "NES" until later consoles were out.
I hadn't heard "nes" until very recently. Was always N.E.S. to anyone I talked to. Granted, I'm 39. I thought for sure it was the next gen that started calling it that.
