Same thing with autism and many other things. Everyone ‘conformed’ back when we either forced conformity, ignored, or suppressed differences.

‘We never saw x back in the day.’ Yeah, dumbass, you didn’t see it because everyone was scared to be themselves.

They just want everyone back in the closet so they won’t be mildly uncomfortable by having to witness something different from themselves.

We must all be white christian men (or subservient women). Nothing else is acceptable. No minorities, no other identities or beliefs, no neurodivergence. Everyone must conform or their precious feelings might be hurt.

I’m sure it’s frightening, but it’s not going away.

I never said that at all. Obviously loads of innocent names will be attached to this, and I think most of us know that. We’re not that dumb.

Not only basically via tweet, Trump said it, too.

Yeah,my point was that you seemed to imply if you’re already a publicly scrutinised person and you’re in those files, you should expect to avoid scrutiny.

That’s not going to happen. If you’re innocent of crimes with children, you’ll be far overshadowed by those who we will see unequivocal evidence for (and that will be leaked soon, you can be sure), so you can mostly breathe fine.

You’d be best off not defending them. It sort of sounds like you’re defending them. I apologise if I’m reading you wrong, but I want all those responsible to pay, and I’m fine with investigating collateral friendships to get there.

that would be cool to investigate every case

Wait, what?

How many people are in there?

What is the FBI for? I’m reading you wrong, surely. I’m sorry if I am, because it sounds like you’re suggesting we shouldn’t bother with this if there are too many perpetrators.

I’m pretty sure you’re not saying that, and I’m missing sarcasm.

e: pretty sure I am. Sorry, I’m a dipshit sometimes, and I’ve been kinda high off and on.

Obviously.

But if you’re in the black book of the world’s most notorious paedophile, maybe you should expect some level of investigation.

Guess how many people are in there who haven’t made a massive thing about it?

If you’re innocent, you’d probably shut the fuck up rather than making like all of the noise? These are people who can afford the best lawyers, who are certainly telling them to shut the fuck up.

If you’re not either the world’s biggest moron or very guilty (such that it can’t get worse), you’d do that.

This is not hard.

And that was young, fashionable people whinging about having to memorise things that weren’t written down.

I’m still amused he kicked this whole thing off. He was clearly in a k-hole at the time and thought he was invincible.

I mean, he likely is invincible, but watching them self-cannibalise is still the most entertainment we can expect from this.

Violence baguettes violence.

I… uh… what?

[After reading article…] this is the worst/best clickbait headline, goddammit.
