In a couple states, yes. They don't actually do anything to restrict the water vapor trails that aircraft routinely produce in cold air.
They in a couple cases impose restrictions on cloud seeding.
Republicans do stuff so ridiculous that you can't easily tell.
What's actually happening:
- Truth Social stock value dropped sharply because its not a platform with any real monetization potential
- a fusion company with no working product wanted to sell stock to the public so its founders could make off with a bunch of money
- so they merged to create hype for the truth social stock and to let the fusion company list shared without having to undergo the usual scrutiny
What hasn't happened
- the silly name the Onion came up with
What might happen:
- large transfers of money from the federal government to the combined firm
I expect it'll be like Bloomberg's conversion of a bus depot to a jail for people opposed to the Iraq war: toss up some fence-based cages inside and dont bother making sure people are treated acceptably.
