UPDATE: This meme has been self-fulfilling because I got home this morning to find the cat in question doing the deed with four male cats in broad daylight in the middle of my yard (the original post was triggered quite innocently by her "bonding" with a cat that wasn't her male bff)
I DID NOT KNOW that they all do it the same day! What the fuck. I figured it happens over the course of the whole spring or something

Not kink-shaming but wtf cats! Where's this behavior coming from? ๐ I thought y'all were just innocent adorable furballs
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have about a dozen strays to catch and take to the vet. No joke.
FURTHER UPDATE: It's been 3 hours. The same four cats have returned and are watching the girl one eat. What the fuck is going on?! [ shaking and crying in a corner ] I don't want cats anymore I don't want cats anymore I don't want cats anymore I don't want cats anymore I don't want cats anymore. I chased them away. Forget it. It's 3:30pm. They can go somewhere else or at least wait for dark. I don't want my neighbors to see a cat orgy in my front yard ๐ซฃ๐ซฃ๐ซฃ

Context: in classical Greece, Sparta built a hegemony based on its military power that was formed around a core of professional hoplites, which was rare at the time as most military campaigns were fought by part time soldiers who were mainly farmers, handymen, etc.
This hegemony was broken when in Thebes the Sacred Band of Thebes was formed, consisting of 150 gay couples who became professional soldiers, too. These 300 (coincidence? Idk, but I find it funny) elite warriors were instrumental in two major defeats an outnumbered thebian army handed to Spartans who encountered another professional military for the first time.
The Sacred Band being made up of gay couples was intentional, as the idea behind it was that men would fight harder for and with other men they had a strong bond with and there was no stronger bond than love.
Idolizing spartan warrior culture is widespread among "alpha males" and the manosphere. Another funny irony that followers and propagators of such a homophobic idiology idolize a culture that was defeated by an explicitly gay warrior unit.
