That doeant mean you have to get on one of the two major busses. It's completely fine to pick a third smaller bus. It might take longer to arrive, but it doesn't smell like someone pissed on the seat.

That would be a great solution, if we ever manage to get one of those small buses to go anywhere.
But although that bus may literally be perfect to ride on the inside, the engine seizes and tires explode so you're stuck 5 feet from the bus depot with no actual hope of going anywhere
Maybe if people used them for more than 1 single ride before deciding it's taking too long. They would be sustainable enough to hire more mechanics and buy better quality tires.
But don't take my word for it. All you need to do is look across the pond to the east, and you'll find dozens of countries that all have more than 2 busses. What, you think they just popped up over night?
The people not continuing to ride the broken small bus realize there's nothing to gain and all to lose by just magically wishing the bus will just go
