The "puppy" is a multi billionaire who spent $200,000,000 on his own primary and is one of the largest individual donors to super pacs in American history...
But trust me bro, he's totally progressive and is gonna decide to not be a billionaire any day now...
Clearing trump going from one of the largest donors to the Democratic party to... Well, all of this, wouldn't happen again!

The "jungle primary" is designed to get two shitty Dems and a Republican to the general.
But a billionaire who has a D by their name is an obvious liar. If they actually believed their own policy, they'd just have start giving money away long before a billion.
He spent money paying doorknocking canvassers in my state for progressive causes that won and might have helped the initiatives win, he puts his money where his mouth is. I'm seeing a lot of chuckling sentiment like yours online about him and others (like Platner) and I can't help but wonder about its disingineuity.
