He spent money paying doorknocking canvassers in my state for progressive causes that won and might have helped the initiatives win, he puts his money where his mouth is. I'm seeing a lot of chuckling sentiment like yours online about him and others (like Platner) and I can't help but wonder about its disingineuity.
