At what point does English admit it made an absolute mess of word forms, borrowing them randomly from different places?
I kinda like it, English is a language based on vibes and theft. It's not here to make sense.
English is a language that waits in a dark alley, knocks out other languages as they pass, then root through their pockets for loose grammar.
A perfect option for global communications :D

They've ruined everything with their white flags, great wines and reasonable pension age.
Also Romans. But like, hey, fix that damn thing, the language is borderline broken :D
Plenty of us use simplified variants of spoken english. It's the lawyers and whatnot that cause this shit to remain relevant.
