Not like he has a choice. He's got nothing else to think with.
Some guys just get honier and hornier with age. They may not be able to always do anything about it, but they think about it. My 88 year old demented grandpa would watch women's volleyball all day. He would record it, and he figured out how to order it in his TV. All day long, just watching volleyball like it was the most normal thing in the world.
At least that's pretty harmless. He's also probably not president of a country of 350 million people.
Ok, coming from someone who actually voted for him in 2016, before the war started, I was saying someone just needs to go into the oval office and just say "ok grandpa, its time to go to bed, sh shhhh, its ok, you just need a nice nap. Dont worry about the country, its OK, its just time to go to bed." Or even going as far as just moving him while hes asleep into a replica white house, tell him he cleaned out all his people and that he picked these new people to help him run things and then replace them with actors that just tell him hes doing great.
At least you admit it, which is better than me. I probably wouldn't admit to voting for that fat orange sack of shit if I had done so, even if only to make a point.
He was going to drain the swamp. He was going to stop insider trading. He was going to stop foreign involvement. He was an outsider. A rebel. He wanted to run independent but could only win as a republican. I never thought he would actually win. I think there were a lot of people like me who thought it would be funny. In hindsight, it wasn't really funny and he didnt actually do any of that stuff he said. And then people voted for him again, and then when he lost he ran again and won!??!?
I'm not going to disparage you for voting for him once. You seem to have some humility and realize it was a mistake. If we're ever going to get out of this we have to make allies, and build community, which I think we are sorely lacking.
They got better fundamentals.

The saying should only apply to people with strategies and grand schemes. Our saying in Dutch is like 'he walks behind his dick' (as in the dick is in charge and he follows his dick's lead) which i find much more applicable to someone like Trump.
