Okay let me get this straight...
This dude finds $30, and the police is on him like he broke into Fort Knox.
I get my £1500 phone snatched from my hands by an asswipe riding a motorbike, I have the license plate etc., and best they can do is half-ass the report not once, not twice, but three times so I have to come by for a fourth time just so I can pay my insurance £250 to get my phone replaced?
But you have to understand, this system allows us to oppress people even poorer than you, much more easily.
I'm sure you feel a little silly, now that you know.
The person who dropped the money was a cop. I bet you $30.
Exactly what i thought when I read the post.
Edit: the first line i mean, i am not funny enough to think the second.
The way it’s worded, we can’t exclude that the dude dropped his own 30, and because the cash touched the floor for over 5 seconds, it became stolen cash once he picked it up.
