This is so poorly worded. It really reads like someone dropped their money and then picked it back up.
Took me forever to realize it was a cop who dropped the money.
Wait, where does it say that a cop dropped the money? That changes everything!
There is no other plausible explanation.
Why the hell else would the cops even look at this never-mind post about it?
