It suck for Ed because probably HE just wanted to get cool musician in His tour, and having your friend Maclemore in it, was just that, He supporting His friend. But then Robert Kraft tells you to kick Maclemore or you can't play in his stadium, to me that fucker should be the one receiving more heat.
Could Ed say fuck you Robert Kraft!?, probably, but it's not that easy, a tour means a lot of jobs for a lot of people, and now He is the bad guy. I don't think that He had th eidea to make a tour to shine a light in society's problems, He just wanted to play music and get paid.
Now Pink, that was just career suicide, when 2 countries are fighting and one has tanks and assault rifles and the other has rocks, and you are Team Tank you are just a douche
"Oh, you're cancelling my concert on a venue I already paid because you suddenly don't like part of my entourage? Nice! You know the closest court so I can sue the hell out of you for breach of contract? Also: I'm gonna make sure you regret this by being extremely public about who's cancelling the show and for what reason."
And that would have made him fill the next few venues just out of spite for the asshole Kraft. But he had to choose bothsiding in a matter that has genociders and victims.
For real. Sheeran is a household name. Kraft is not. Tell him to kick rocks and talk to your lawyer. Ugh. So unprofessional all around
No one would think he was the bad guy if he publicly condemned Robert. More importantly, he could probably sue the shit out of him for this.
Yeah, it's a hard choice. And, so far, he's made the wrong one.
Agree. I don't really care about Ed or even know his music, but when he's the main attraction for the audience and the host for the supporting acts, he has to be the last one to cancel.
He needs to do that now to save any shed of integrity.
In hindsight he ought to be have coordinated with the other bands outside of the press before saying anything at all. There's no saving this now, when it already shows that he caved in to the demands regardless of his reasoning for doing so.
And if not then, definitely now. 3 of his opening acts and his own supporting band have now cancelled their performances...
Yeah, he's proper fucked now. That's a career killer.
He has enough money to sod off in some luxury resort for the rest of his life anyway.
