According to Wikipedia, someone named Bill Montgomery - never heard of 'im, but then I don't travel in those circles.
72 year old man founds a conservative youth organization. Talk about astroturfing.
โMontgomery met Kirk when the latter was 18, after hearing Kirk speak at a small college.[4]ย Montgomery has been described as Kirk's mentor, including by advising him to start Turning Point USA rather than attend college.โ
Nothing weird about that at all
72 year old Colonel Sanders cosplayer.
These sorts of organisations always tend to be founded by rich, but not particularly persuasive individuals. They tend to find someone like Kirk to be the face of the organisation so they can reap the benefits without having to do any of the legwork.
I mean would you be interested in a random 87-year-old's political pronouncements?
I'm guessing you meant to respond to @jballs@sh.itjust.works as I said nothing about the guy.
