With the fascism, the shit in the epstein files, and this shit, its just a fucken joke now. Burn it to the ground.
None of it is a joke. If Americans treated it seriously when it all first started, we wouldn't be here right now. It's a fascist coup wrapped in the American flag, always has been.
But saying it doesn't seem to motive people to do what's necessary to oppose it. Those words have been overused and misused to the point of being completely ineffective to communicate the seriousness of what's happening. It's a five alarm fire and ppl are just going to work and doin their hobbies and acting like this is someone else's problem to fix. Which is exactly what the political class has taught us for decades, don't engage, don't participate, don't think to be actively involved in your own governance, don't have any power of influence, just vote every couple years and then fuck off back to your wage slave lives.
You know full well that it's just a figure of speech. Don't be deliberately obtuse. It is a joke of a government.
It's as serious a government as America has ever had. Incompetent, corrupt, abusive, cruel, ignorant, arrogant, elitist, racist, narcissistic, but also very, very serious. Humor has a way of disconnecting us from the seriousness of things and I'm guessing that's why you characterize it as a joke. It may be a figure of speech but you using it says something about you that I'm going to take seriously.
