Trump told a lengthy story about negotiating over the price of Sharpie pens. The company says it has no record of any such conversation.

Remember when they were foaming at the mouth over Biden having dementia?

[–] a_non_monotonic_function@lemmy.world 14 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

The Biden crime family you mean? 😏

[–] meco03211@lemmy.world 4 points 1 hour ago

I mean that dong is criminally big. Probably why they hate him so much.

I mean, dementia is your brain not being able to recall your life, or in some cases stuck in a certain time period in your mind despite it being decades later.

What trump is, is just a narcsisist, and a liar. Super easy to punch in the face without feelings of guilt.

I mean, dementia is your brain not being able to recall your life, or in some cases stuck in a certain time period in your mind despite it being decades later.

This is completely incorrect. Not only are there many types of dementia, with Alzheimer's being the most common, but the memory problems common to dementia are not at all specific to recalling "your life". Alzheimer's symptoms:

difficulty in finding the right word, difficulties with visuospatial ability, and impaired reasoning and judgment. In later stages the symptoms become more severe, and include greater confusion, and changes in behavior.

Here are just a couple examples that I can remember off the top of my head and quickly find online of Trump exhibiting dementia symptoms. There are literally dozens of examples publicly documented, and likely countless that have occurred behind closed doors or been covered up.

But he tripped up the stairs once!

Sharpies are not pens. Sharpies are markers which are closer to signing everything with a crayon.

Sharpies are not pens. Sharpies are markers

Which is short for "marker pens".

[–] DragonAce@lemmy.world 11 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

The ones trump uses are definitely not. But the Sharpie brand does sell pens as well now.

[–] Widdershins@lemmy.world 2 points 46 minutes ago

They are good pens but even if he heard of their pens he would still be signing in bold with a marker. If you asked anyone to go buy you a Sharpie you will wind up with a marker when they get back.

[–] jimerson@lemmy.world 8 points 1 hour ago

They are really nice pens to write with, tbf.

[–] TipRing@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

His confabulation is becoming more obvious.

[–] InvalidName2@lemmy.zip 5 points 2 hours ago

I'd rather he save the country billions (or trillions) of dollars by cutting back on golfing excursions, stopping all the corruption going on in his cabinet, and oh yeah, not bombing brown babies in foreign countries.

[–] modestmeme@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

I love Sharpie. But I can find something else if they cut some Trump deal.

[–] silence7@slrpnk.net 2 points 1 hour ago

As far as anybody can tell, he made the whole thing up. The sharpies for signing are real, but likely are standard sharpies that somebody silk-screened a logo onto.
