You don't give a cognitive test to someone you don't think needs it.

[–] Asafum@lemmy.world 39 points 1 month ago (23 children)

While I agree especially for Obama, I'm not quite sure that holds with "we finally beat Medicare" Biden. Especially towards the end.

[–] MiddleAgesModem@lemmy.world 59 points 1 month ago (5 children)

More than a little ridiculous to claim Biden's misspeaking during the debate is in any way comparable to "they're eating cats and dogs".

[–] GraniteM@lemmy.world 25 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (2 children)

Biden was in bad shape the way that a grandpa who has been running the family hardware business for fifty years gets a little bit confused about whether or not he called the guy about fixing the leaky roof, but by God grandpa is going to be at work seven days a week selling wrenches and screwdrivers and absolutely fucking refuses to take a vacation, let alone retire, even though there are younger people who are more than ready to take over.

Trump is in bad shape like a football player who got drafted out of high school, was hustled through his college classes on the basis of his football scholarship, and then took so many blows to the head that his brain looks like a dried lotus pod.

Neither is good, but there is a meaningful difference.

They're eating cats and dogs was straight demagoguery. It's like the Nigerian prince scams. It was rational for him to say that. Horrible, but rational.

The difference is that Biden actually surrounded himself with competent people. Trump surrounds himself with enablers.

Hes so damn dumb he thinks it's an accomplishment.

He really does not understand that he just posted that Obama & Biden were completely sane. No one was questioning their ability to function in the real world. He had 3 MOCA tests to track his ability to function. AKA the patient needs to be assessed often to verify his mental state. This is the stupidest boast, it makes him look even stupider. Give him another MOCA test.

[–] MimicJar@lemmy.world 36 points 1 month ago

I really think they need to add one last question to the test. "Does the participant understand the test they just took?" It's clear he does not.

[–] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 33 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

It's like seeing someone who's been a failing student all year, who was told they need to get a B or higher on the final to pass. Then when they manage it, they go around bragging, "Who got a decent grade on the final and doesn't have to retake the course in summer school? This guy!"

Then they point at the honor students, who were exempted from the final due to their high grades, and tease them over not even having a score for the final... so far detached from the situation that they fail to see how having no grade at all in this case is better than getting any grade.

3 toddler cognitive tests

2 impeachments

34 felony convictions

1 adjudicated rape

1 fraudulent charity shut down

1 fraudulent university shut down

1000s of mentions in the Epstein files

2 failed presidencies

(fill in the blank) Constitutional violations

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 26 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

my dude, they aren't toddler cognitive tests.

they're assessments. they give them to people with dementia or progressive neurological decay to assess how far and how fast they are going. there is no "acing" them, because part of the assessment is how you take the test, not just the answers. don't tell that dipshit tho

other than that, carry on.

[–] dellish@lemmy.world 21 points 1 month ago

"The number of constitutional violations is left as homework for the reader"

Can we call them what they are?

Dementia tests.

He's bragging about taking three dementia tests so far this year.

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 17 points 1 month ago (2 children)

He's literally so stupid and/or demented that he doesn't realize the fact he has to explain what these tests are to everyone means they aren't normal.

A gorilla also passed that cognitive test

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 23 points 1 month ago

Well, not just any gorilla, but yes. She would have been a better president.

Felony convictions:

Obama - 0

Biden - 0

Trump - 34

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 39 points 1 month ago (1 children)

They used an unflattering picture of Biden here, but it's funny they apparently couldn't find any bad pictures of Obama to use.

[–] Schmuppes@lemmy.today 20 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (4 children)

Could have used one with the tan suit.

[–] ouRKaoS@lemmy.today 26 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Nah, he looked damn good in that suit and I think that was the problem.

Dude's been bragging about passing MOCAs for ten years now. I'd be interested to know what his actual score was though, because if I'm sure of anything it's that Donald Trump is not a reliable historian.

I love the subconscious irony of, red bad; blue good.

[–] ArtVandelay@lemmy.world 24 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

"not to brag or anything, but I manage to stay at least 500 ft away from all schools, parks, and playgrounds. Much further away than most people, they tell me, Donald you stay further away from schools and playgrounds and parks than any other president. Much further away than sleepy Joe and Obama"

[–] cinoreus@lemmy.world 22 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

His derangedness is actually super funny if human rights and global economy wasn't at stake. We need more world leaders rambling how hot Sydney Sweeney is

[–] uriel238@lemmy.blahaj.zone 21 points 1 month ago (4 children)

And remember that one of Trump's staffers created this graphic and thought it was a good idea that the President post it...

...or was so desperate to please his Lord and Savior that he offered this graphic despite having the sense to know it did not make the President look good, even to his base.

Now that I think about it, this could be a Mother Night moment.

Hilarious but 0% chance of being real

Edit: What the actual fuck

[–] reddig33@lemmy.world 35 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (4 children)

It’s real. Regrettably, reality crossed over into idiocracy a long time ago.

That's not the flex you think it is.

Put down the phone and tell us the story about how windmills killed your great-grandmother. Yup. Uh-huh. Cancer. Right.
