Am bull
0% saturated grey. Blue grays can be cool
What is this Brown you speak of? Do you mean Dark Orange?
Brown doesn't exist. I'm with you.
my least favorite is approximately #e3ff00
also i dislike grays becsuse they're in so many places they have no business being in, gray is too overused.
i love cyan, light bluish green and turquoise. purple is fine too, pink is ok. weird yellow green is not a good color.
I used to love grey. And then sometime in the mid-2000's, automakers decided that they loved it too. And every damn vehicle on the road was grey.
Then, we got a new CEO at work. And he thought our facilities needed a refresh, but shouldn't look "institutional".
So every damn surface was painted grey with a darker shade of grey for the trim. It felt like I was working on a WW2 battleship. In black and white.
Now I can't fucking stand it.
Yellow
I really like this trend I'm seeing about posts asking for least fav things. Personally, mine is:
I don't know if I have a least favorite overall - there is a color between brown and green I find distasteful but there are colors I like but not for certain things.
I cannot wear orange, or coral. They make me look like I am green and sick.
I can't stand red on walls. We moved into our house and the kitchen was painted red it was almost offensive. I think they were going for "Tuscan" . My grandma's house had a Red Room and I never liked it either.
Floors should not be gray planks pretending to be wood but clothing in that color can be so beautiful. I have a gray silk cami and it is like liquid mercury looking, so pretty.
My house had really gross almost nude colored accent walls and doors. It was awful. I painted over it before I moved in so I wouldn't have to see the disgusting color every day.
The upstairs bedroom of my old house had that interlocking bead board siding and was painted “sphincter”. A light pink with a hint of brown. It was something. With all the crevices it took a lot of work to paint it blue.
Orange. It's the "please look at me" color, it's grating and annoying
I hate the way magenta reveals the subjective nature of how we interpret wavelengths of light as colors.
What a pretentious ass color
Fancy green bastard.
I don't ever find myself wanting anything that is pink. I really think most colors are pleasant and have their place. Pink just gives me a sense of... needy? Overbaring and loud, i guess.
That mustardy-green color from the 70s and early 80s. Just looks weird on furniture.
Or that nicotine baige yellow color
Like chartreuse?
Octarine. Some people say it's beautiful, but I just can't see it
Yeah it's overhyped for sure. It's just kinda greenish yellow-purple.
I particularly dislike that Pepto Bismol Hot Pink color. It hurts my eyes to look at it. It's tacky, it's gaudy, and the fact that it causes me actual physical pain in large enough quantities is enough for me to dislike it.
The color that came from space, it fell one day from the sky, or from… somewhere else. It got into the ground, the plants, the water, the animals, and… and us. It changed things, mutated reality around it, turned them into a form more like where it came from. I can’t picture it when I think about it, the color, it doesn’t exist in the human mind, it doesn’t belong here, but I still remember seeing it… and I can’t forget what it did. I’m still not sure if I ever got away from it, if you can get away from it… It was a color out of space…
Nic Cage did a film version of that and it was actually pretty good.
My favourite colour is bright orange, like candy. Followed by bright yellow, like canary feathers.
The colour I hate is the nasty pumpkin-flesh yellow-orange ochre that exists between them.
Probably makes me hard to buy for that people think they're getting me a nice orange thing in 'my favourite colour' 🤮
I used to hate yellow. But now I know how to use it. So... Brown, I guess. It's not that I hate it, I just would never purposely make anything brown.
Orange, like what am I supposed to do with it ?
Dam, I actually painted my bedroom orange years ago, lol. I loved it. I then met a girl who would become my wife, and she hated it so much.
Perfect autumn color. Halloween, leaves in a colored cornucopia of orange.
Sunburst guitars are incredibly pretty. Nothing like an old Les Paul to play your heart out on.
Put it against black, wear it in October.
Just murky colours, khaki or camo or anything actual Murky or Lurky would wear, from Rainbow Brite, because I just look at myself and still say, yuck, you look like Murky and Lurky. Fun fact, just realised I named one of my kids after one of the colour kids! Another fun fact, when I was 3yo, I decided I was done with my home and I was running away to live with Rainbow Brite, I patiently waited for a Rainbow to appear in the sky, grabbed my favorite toy, said sorry to all the ones I had to leave behind, walked to the end of the street and, then realised I could go no further because I wasn't allowed to cross the road, so I, defeated, returned home.
I hate colour palettes more than specific colours.
And yellow brown green earth tones are at the height of dislike.
Literal puke piss and shit colour everywhere. Gross
cottagecore
? I don't understand sorry
that palette is useful for all things cottagecore
But what the h e double hockey sticks is cottagecore? Though I am absolutely thanking you for helping me avoid it in advance
youth trend about cottages and cute often idealized rural living
Ah the youths dreaming about a cottage in the middle of no where do they can forget this shit hole timeline they grew up in.
That checks out. Still hate it
Beige.
Oblivion is beige.
