It’s crazy that people are pushing memes like he’s the good guy.
This is juxtaposition, not apologia. There is a scale of awful, and Dubya is objectively on the lesser side relative to the Paedophile President, seditious traitor and inarticulate pissboy that he is. There is no section of the constitution that I know of which he hasn't violated. Dubya was many of the things which the traitor-in-chief is, and that makes the juxtaposition all the more apt. If they were supposed to be comparing a good president, they'd have picked FDR. Instead, they picked one who was generally considered one of the worst until that point to show that, even when you think you've scraped the bottom, someone can still manage to break the bottom of the barrel and scrape the mouldering, fetid carcass of a plague rat off the floor below.
How are they going to go lower than Trump, though? They would have to find someone who physically tortures and kills people in public. Some kind of Mad Max-like supervillain. It's gonna be so retro!
What I come back to when compairing Trump and GWB is that GWB at least seemed to respect the office, Trump shows utter contempt towards it.

That might be OP's intention, but they need to say so in the post itself or it's Bush apologia anyway. Also that's true, but having more respect for the imperialist war machine isn't my idea of (good) limits. There are areas where an "imagine being worse than Bush" comparison makes sense, but how much they respect the people doing their imperialism is simply not one of them. Or to put it another way: Hitler wouldn't have been a worse person if he had secretly looked down on the SS.

I mean Iran is usually reasonable in its foreign policy. The regime is fucking evil don't get me wrong, but that usually manifests more in their domestic policy (their support for Assad being a notable exception) instead. Which is to say: In a conflict between Iran and America/Israel, you can usually bet on Iran being the more reasonable side, at least partially because they're not strong enough to be as blatantly evil as America outside their borders.
