It would be funnier to give them campaign medals. And then when they match in parade they can tell people that they are veterans of the battle of Washington or what ever. Different groups of guerilla fighters attacking with different uncoordinated tactics, no Intel on capabilities or location, and no tech to exploit. Not to mention no language barriers.
Plus they will be working against our own people. When deployed to another country there is some mental disconnect happening that I don't think will happen domestically.
Aside from tactics and training not working which I agree with, I don't believe the majority will be motivated to be effective in any way.

Each time he's done this they wasted a shitload of money, his numbers dropped and he ends up looking like an idiot. Even more importantly, it brings them no closer to expanding their control over the populace. They might actually be too stupid to be effective authoritarians.

Very poorly is my best guess at this point. I don't think the US is going to have free and clear elections anymore. Time will tell, but too many people are way too focused on things like numbers and such.

Each time he improves the process, scopes out his opposition and finds out what he needs congress to pass to make it easier. These first few times wont work, they aren't meant to, they are meant to set everything up so he can control the populace with military force without any legal opposition

I don't know their endgame. I do know this has been planned for a while. Notable wealthy people sold their properties and moved to Florida.
They can have all the data they want. Apply whatever models to it they have.
This will not go according to their plans. Even if they are hoping for absolute chaos, they won't get that.
Chicago is not DC and I honestly think they're going to get the violence they're probably looking for, but i don't think it will go as well for them as they expect. But anyone who supports and facilitates the current regime deserves a pension plan of a five foot rope and a spot along a bridge so oh well.

I can believe NG troops are in a gray area on their deployments, as they have historically been allowed for certain emergencies and fighting whether this is a legit emergency may seem above their paygrade, but the active duty servicemembers don't have those excuses. It's time for them to start standing up and refusing orders.
Can the USA really fight Venezuela, Panama, Greenland, Mexico, Canada and the USA all at the same time?
If 2000 hours of Civ has taught me anything, then no.
