For me, it’s never about saving money but finding an interesting place to stay. My wife and I spent one anniversary in a treehouse, it was super cool. To me, it’s always felt like a luxury vs a way to save money.

Our house was built in 1930 and sits directly across the street from what used to be the farmhouse that owned all the land. Our backyard slopes down to another road. Anytime we dig we find old trash. Our backyard must have been the dump of the farm.

I’d say C-level execs already are ‘low-value human capital’
