I'd like to see a movie where all the christian conservatives get raptured up to heaven, only to find out it's actually all the worst parts of how it's been described: a eternal church service of fawning over a tyrant who demands constant worship, adoration, and absolute obedience. Meanwhile, back on earth, with no more conservatives around, the people left behind build a just, equitable, and prosperous paradise.

The idea of "Rapture" is very recent; and based on a very problematic pseudo-theology.
But for your idea, something more theologically solid relates to the idea that God is the source of all good, a world where God is entirely absent would be only evil and suffering, Hell.
It gets more complicated than that if the one God is an omnipotent creator of all.
