So this is one of 50 ideas I got to protest against age verification.

Here I would just hijack the TV stations of America just to show the entire Season 3 TAWOG episode "the safety" but I made it distorted on maximum twice on Vegas Pro.

I feel like this idea is a lot better than the stuff that I did in the past, I did falsely accused 50 people of a crime because I lost it when I saw the stats from fightchatcontrol.eu , but yeah I'm still not getting over age verification

Donald Trump’s authoritarian drift in his second term places the country on a par with Hungary or Turkey, according to a ranking by Sweden’s V-Dem Institute

Democratic backsliding is advancing in the developed world. The annual report from Sweden's V-Dem Institute leaves no room for doubt: almost a quarter of the world experienced democratic backsliding, or a shift towards autocratization, in 2025, and six of the 10 newly regressive countries identified in the research are located in Europe and North America, including G-7 powers such as Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

But the most unsettling conclusion reached by the Swedish institute is that the United States

once a proud beacon of the more or less free world

is no longer a liberal democracy and is now on a par with countries like Hungary or Turkey, thanks to President Donald Trump. Autocracy is also spreading throughout Europe, but its reach extends far beyond the Old Continent: 41% of the world's population (3.4 billion people) now live in countries where democracy is eroding.

The institute, which belongs to the University of Gothenburg and uses 48 metrics in its evaluation, is one of the most reliable sources when it comes to rating the state of governments around the world, and the conclusion of its 2026 study confirms the worst fears about the authoritarian drift of the U.S. under Trump's leadership.

Rising gasoline prices are already starting to bite U.S. household finances and Americans overwhelmingly expect fuel costs will keep climbing as Donald Trump's war with Iran crimps ‌global oil supplies, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

Some 55% of respondents in the Tuesday-through-Thursday poll said their household finances had taken at least "somewhat" of a hit from the increases in gas prices. Among those seeing an impact, 21% said their finances were affected "a great deal."

The average price of gasoline in America has surged by nearly a dollar per gallon since February 28 when the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, prompting Iranian counterstrikes on the energy installations of U.S. allies and the effective closure by Iran of the Strait of Hormuz, which carries one-fifth of the global oil supply.

The economic risk is so dire that the Trump administration has mulled deploying thousands of additional U.S. troops to ensure safe passage of oil tankers through the strait, an endeavor some officials have warned might require deploying U.S. troops to Iran's shoreline.

Data gathered by Chartbeat and shared by Axios reveals that, over the past year, Google Search traffic to publishers across the broader web have fallen drastically, and proportionally more so for smaller websites. Referral traffic from Google apparently fell by 60% for “small publishers,” while “medium publishers” (those with between 10,000-100,000 daily pageviews) saw a drop of 47%. “Large publishers,” meanwhile, saw a 22% drop. That last category would be any site getting over 100,000 daily pageviews.

It’s not just Google Search either. While Search traffic dropped by 34%, traffic from Google Discover has also fallen by 15% over the past year, the report found.

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m looking for contributors to help grow this project—if you’re interested in collaborating, reviewing code, or adding features, feel free to jump in!

I built NAS Monitor because the native Ugreen UI isn't the most efficient when you just want a quick, real-time overview of your system.

Full disclosure: I built this entirely with the help of AI! It’s been a fascinating experiment, but now I'd love to get some real human developers on board to help refine it.

What it does: It’s a simple, self-hosted dashboard that runs via Docker. It gives you a clean look at your: CPU & RAM usage Disk health Network traffic (without all the extra clicks!)

🛠 Bonus for Devs (API Docs): Since Ugreen doesn't have an official API, I managed to reverse-engineer their internal one (with AI assistance) and included the complete API documentation in the repository. If you're looking to build your own tools for Ugreen NASync devices, this should save you a lot of time!

The Senate is planning to debate and vote on the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, called the SAVE America Act, through this weekend as Senate conservatives warn that a failure to make significant progress on Trump’s No. 1 legislative priority could result in Republican voters sitting out the election in November.

The Senate is expected to vote Saturday on an amendment sponsored by Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), a staunch Trump ally, to bar transgender athletes from participating in women’s sports.

Then the Senate will pivot to vote Sunday on a motion to advance the nomination of Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) to serve as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, which would set up a final confirmation vote for Mullin on Monday.

Hegseth said "family after family" of service members killed urged the administration to “not stop until the job is done." Donald Trump made a similar claim earlier this month.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth met privately Wednesday with the families of six service members who died in the Iran war and, in a press briefing the next morning, said the message he got was consistent and supportive.

“What I heard through tears, through hugs, through strength and through unbreakable resolve was the same from family after family. They said, ‘Finish this. Honor their sacrifice. Do not waver. Do not stop until the job is done,’” Hegseth said.

One of the people he met at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware was Charles Simmons. His 28-year-old son, Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, was among the six crew members killed when their refueling plane crashed in Iraq last week.

Simmons recalled his exchange differently.
